0318: Somewhere along our road trip, I decided I like the diesel BMW X5 so well that I wanted a diesel toy car as well. This morning, after pilates at The Marsh, I went to Westside VW and arranged to trade my mCoupe for a Golf TDI. Then I went and picked up Avery. We met Steve for lunch at Harvest Moon. After lunch, Avery and I went home to putz. At 3:00, my new car was ready to pick up. At 5:15 we took both dogs to the Vet. Hanna for her annual checkup, Gracie for her sore/stiff neck. The Vet was a tad concerned with Hanna’s labored breathing and prescribed Rimadyl for Gracie.

WoodwayTreadmill: 28:16, 2.0 miles, 4.2 mph, HR=156. I’m anxious to pick up my “Girls”. It’s just too quiet around here without them. They took Gracie to the Vet for a sore/stiff neck. We’ve noticed that recently, but not so bad as to require a trip to the Vet. With the exception of one bark, Gracie was quiet and calm in the car on the way home. Typically, she hates the car and makes the trip very unpleasant.

We arrived home just before 11 last night. It’s nice to have a day to regroup. And do laundry.

This morning finds us in Flagstaff,AZ: I was so excited about breakfast after our walk, that I forgot to stop the timer on my GPS. We needed a car wash, but freezing rain/slush wasn’t what I had in mind. But, it did the job and was free!
