I got a ticket this morning. Not a speeding ticket. I was stuck in construction traffic and took an unapproved short cut. “Driving Around a Barricade” $118.

West on the LuceLine w/Hanna&Gracie: 82 minutes, 4.92 miles, 16:36/3.7, HR=108. I decided to pick up the pace a bit. About the time I settled in to a nice jog, Hanna stopped right in front of me and Gracie lunged to the left. I very nearly face planted on the trail. I’m risking serious injury doing any more than walking these two.

We celebrated Steve’s birthday with his kids. “The Master Butcher’s Singing Club” at the Guthrie. This was one of the best plays I’ve ever seen!

We managed to get the boys to Como Park by 9 am, where we met their cousin for a photo session. So fun to watch that! Afterwards we toured the Como Zoo.

When I left the house this morning there was one crew taking out my dock and another bat proofing my house. The dock guys are lucky I missed their truck, it was parked pretty much where my boat was last week.

LuceLine West w/Hanna&Gracie: 1:22:42, 4.8 miles, 17:13/3.5, HR=102. I gave Hanna a Rimadyl with her daily vitamin about an hour before we left and she did just fine. I was surprised to find it drizzling when we got outside. But, since we were all ready to go, I figured we would just cut our walk short, but it wasn’t bad under the tree canopy that covers most of our route.
