The snow storm continues! We celebrated Christmas Day at Steve’s Sister’s home. Cranberry juice is my friend.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at my Mom’s, followed by midnight mass at Mary Queen of Peace in Rogers, MN.
2009-12-23 Wednesday
All the kids joined me for my birthday dinner! Steve’s gingerbread creation was absolutely awesome. We switched to Christmas mode and exchanged gifts.

Woodway Treadmill: 85 minutes, 4.3 miles, HR control set at 105. I took the wrapping paper up to the attic, I’m ready!

Early Mass. The neighbor dogs keep bringing gifts; a purple boot, a knit glove, a ball.
2009-12-19 Saturday
A trip to the Post Office netted me one of the last three items I’m waiting on! UPS tracking tells me the other two will arrive on Monday. I’m mostly done. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not missing something in not rushing around with last minute shopping. But, it’s that sort of Christmas spirit I am consciously trying to avoid.

Avery and I stopped in Uptown to finish our shopping. Did some present wrapping. She made trains and houses out of all the boxes in the work room upstairs. Played outside. We still spend more time getting her dressed to go out than are actually outside.
