We enjoyed “Gee’s Bend” at the Park Square Theatre. Two stops at Candyland added to the pleasure.

Avery didn’t have school today, so she helped us with a Funeral Lunch. We dropped some leftovers off at the Higgins’ house on the way back to Oakdale. There we were greeted with the news that they are expecting an addition to their family!

It was just too dark and cold to hit the trail with the Dogs this morning. I’m not ready to face the Treadmill or Wave just yet either. I went in to work early. I got stopped by the Police. Again. 42 in a 30. Same area, opposite direction, as the speeding ticket I got this spring. Honestly, I didn’t realize the 30 mph zone starts where it does. The Policeman let me off with a warning to slow down. Yay! After work I went to Minnetonka BMW to pick up the little car. I was a little disappoint to also find they’ve sold the X5M I’ve been thinking about for a few weeks. Probably just as well. Another 150 horse power will only get me in even more trouble with the Police. I need to start thinking Diesel.

Early Mass. Our Parish remains unchanged, for now. Deb, Kate and Jack joined us for the open house at Skyrock Farm. On the way home we stopped at a pumpkin patch for pumpkins. Pizza and tractor work upon our return home.

LuceLine West w/Hanna&Gracie: 56:35, 3.57, 15:52/3.9, HR=119. Hanna did fine with a slightly quicker pace and a shorter distance.

LuceLine East w/Hanna&Gracie: 82 minutes, 4.51 miles, 18:09/3.3, HR=117. I really must face the fact that, even with Rimadyl, Hanna’s limit is about 3 miles. She really struggled the last mile and a half.

I wish I could understand what it was the Owls were jabbering about this morning.
