When we arrived at the farm today we were greeting with the exciting news that four Great Pyrenese puppies were born last night.  Avery got to see them, but I didn’t.  I am number 21 on the list to receive a puppy!  Farmers, who intend to put the dogs to work as the herder’s they were born to be, get first dibs.  Chances aren’t good, but if they get to me, it was meant to be.  Gale Woods Farm:  59 minutes, 3.13 miles, 18:56/3.2, HR=107.

Avery is attending “Farm Adventures” Day Camp at Gale Woods Farm this week.  Today while she was at camp, my friend Teri joined me and we had a nice walk around the farm trails.  I have no idea what Avery thought of camp, as she fell asleep the minute she got in the car and slept until I pulled into her driveway.  She needed that nap for this evening’s swim lesson.  I’ll hear about camp tomorrow when I pick her up.  I went to my office for a while.  My SubZero refrigerator has stopped working.

In an early celebration of Father’s Day, Steve’s kids and their families joined us for early mass.  Everyone came to the house for breakfast and some hanging out at the lake.  My Microsoft Money file seems to have been successfully converted to something Quicken can use.  Now it’s a matter of tweaking and mental adjustment.

Fox/Willow/Watertown/Leaf Loop:  73 minutes, 4.11 miles, 17:46/3.4, HR=120.  We went from a graduation party to a choir party to a party-for-no-reason.

I feel much better today!  Avery and I made a strawberry cream pie, of which Avery is very proud.

R.I.P. Microsoft Money.  I guess I’ll go back to using Quicken.  This can’t be good:  My head aches, my sinuses are creaking, my throat is raw, I’m sneezing, I’m coughing, I’ve got stabbing pains in my ears and some respiratory distress.  I sure hope my immune system wins this one.

Hanna and I were all ready to hit the trail this morning, only to find it drizzling.  I jumped in the shower and made it an early morning at my office.  Stopped to visit the Golden LivingCenter – Hillcrest of Wayzata.  Fox/Willow/Watertown/Leaf Loop:  73 minutes, 4.10 miles, 17:47/3.4, HR=109.  It was actually sunny!

Lucky Me! Grateful me.  I just upgraded the ROM on my Verizon TouchPro from 1.03.605.4 to 1.08.605.4 seemingly without incident.  Please read this.  Thank You!  St. George Women’s Council meeting at the Ox Yoke Inn.

While I was celebrating Carol’s birthday with my family, Steve sold the Trek T2000!  I’m thinking that money may go towards this or this. 

Early Mass.  Nicole’s Graduation Party on the Seavo:  155 minutes, 32.76 miles, 12.6 mph, HR=129.  The weather was iffy for biking, but we decided to go for it and I’m glad we did!  Bonus; depending on who’s doing the calculating, I burned somewhere between 741 and 1118 calories!
