What’s with the sudden increase in junk mail? We took a loaf of Banana (or Pumpkin, not sure which) Chocolate Chip bread to our new sorta neighbors Chip, Krisie, Johnny and their chocolate lab Mookie. When we left there we followed the railroad tracks to the back of the apple orchard, snitching a few apples as we strolled through. They were picking on the north side. By hand! Steve’s visiting his new grandson this evening.

What I had thought would be a quick half hour at the Doctor’s office turned into an ordeal of more than two hours. Avery deserves a medal for her cooperative behavior! The new Dora Etch-A-Sketch entertained her for a whole seven minutes. It was the tape measure I keep in my purse that saved the morning. There are a million things in a Doctor’s waiting room that just beg to be measured. For the curious; UTI. When “B” got home, Avery insisted we spend some time in the hamhock (toddler speak for hammock).
