What do you want to try next year? Is there something you wanted to try in 2010? What happened when you did / didn’t go for it? In 2010 there was skydiving! I haven’t decided about 2011 yet.
December 17 – Lesson Learned
What was the best thing you learned about yourself this past year? And how will you apply that lesson going forward?
December 16 – Friendship
How has a friend changed you or your perspective on the world this year? Was this change gradual, or a sudden burst?
December 15 – 5 Minutes
Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010. Tour de Tonka, Family Reunion, Cookie Baking.
December 14 – Appreciate
What’s the one thing you have come to appreciate most in the past year? How do you express gratitude for it? I am just bursting with appreciation and gratitude for my life in general. I could not hope for a happier home, career, social or love life. I like to think I express my gratitude by passing it on whenever and where ever I can.
December 13 – Action
When it comes to aspirations, its not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. What’s your next step? ? I think of aspirations as mostly career related. My only aspiration in that department is to keep on keeping on. I give long range thought to shaping my retirement life, but nothing specific at this point. Part of my thinking in regards to a time share is to force me to take the time to explore other areas of the country/world. Because, you know, I’ve already paid for it.
2010-12-13 Monday
TechnoGym Wave: 47 minutes, 7 miles, HR=119. 49 days ago I did 42 minutes, 6 miles, HR=121. I’ve lost nothing to the pneumonia! My work computer died this morning.
2010-12-12 Saturday
We enjoyed “2 Pianos 4 Hands” at the Park Square Theater.
December 12 – Body Integration
This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present? I am always alive and present with my body. Always.
December 11 – Things
What are 11 things your life doesn’t need in 2011? How will you go about eliminating them? How will getting rid of these 11 things change your life? When the holidays are over and the Christmas decorations are packed up and ready to go back into the attic, I’m going to spend some time evaluating the attic shelves. There is stuff up there that’s not been used in years. This isn’t going to change my life, though it will make future downsizing that much easier. Just for kicks, I found 11 things in my bedroom that I can live without and put them in a donation box. Getting rid of these 11 things will not change my life at all.
