The brakes on my car are starting to squeak sometimes. Early Mass. R.I.P. my kitchen computer, I guess you’ll be replaced with a netbook.

Eduardo spent the day with Tony. They tinkered in Tony’s garage, went go-karting and picked up a pizza for dinner on their way back to my house. Steve and Eduardo did some bonding over the fire pit, as men/boys are inclined to do. I spent the day wrapping Christmas gifts, doing laundry and other mundane household tasks.

Avery and I made our annual visit to Macy’s Holiday Display. For the first time ever we did a lot of waiting in line, starting with a wait in line to get in the elevators! When we got to the 8th floor and saw the crowd, I wanted to skip it and just do some shopping. Avery would have none of that! To her credit, she never once complained about any of the waiting. We spent over 2 hours there, mostly waiting in lines. After we got our cookie and visited the toy shop, she picked out a green party dress. We came home and spent the afternoon “yogaing” and general diddle farting around. I wish I could figure out why my Outlook mail rules have stopped working.

The light dusting of snow we got today was just what we needed to set the mood for the St.George Women’s Council Christmas Party we hosted this evening.

Physical Therapy this morning: Bursitis in my left hip, rotator cuff injury in my right shoulder. Nothing that can’t be fixed with some Physical/Occupational Therapy followed by self care.

Our Christmas cards are in the mail! I saw a purple Christmas tree on my way to work today. It’s a good thing we already have a tree.

TechnoGym Wave: 83 minutes, 12 miles. I’m fighting a cold and mostly winning. So far.

“Sisters of Swing” at the History Theatre.

Three of our five kids and their “friends”/family joined us for Thanksgiving leftovers. I think we’ll do this again next year. Thanksgiving Day is just too hectic with everyone needing to be so many different places. We had so much more time to enjoy the kids today.

I’ve not been able to find a suitable replacement for my favorite Melaleuca Sol-U-Guard disinfectant. I met up with the local Melaleuca representative and reactivated my membership. Steve procured the perfect Christmas tree!
