OUCH!  Muscle cramp at the top of my right calf at 4:30 am.    Avery and I went to see Bob today, we brought him a plant.   Daisy had another acupuncture treatment this afternoon and Avery got some of it on video.  Daisy has lost >4 pounds since August 20, putting her at her lowest weight yet.  She doesn’t appear to have any urgent issues, but we’ll see what the results of her blood work show in a few days.  The Vet approved my plan for weaning her off the Methylprednisolone.  I’ll continue the twice daily Suo Quan Wan.  We’ve added Derma-3 omega 3 fatty acids once a day.  I’ll give her a little more chow, or clean protein.

Pilates w/Angela @ Home.  When Daisy and I were on our walk this morning, we saw CrabbyNeighbor out sweeping and raking up his acorns. I stopped to ask if he knew anything about the markings on my yard.  He’s pretty sure they are for the work that was done on Monday.  There is one tiny area of disappointment, but he said; “you’re getting there, Robin, you’re getting there”.  I think that’s as close to approval as I’m going to get.  I keep wandering around the yard, almost giddy with how great it looks.

Woodway TM @ Home:  56:29, 3.0 miles, 3.2 mph.  I wonder why no HR?  My front lawn is covered with painted lines and arrows and there are all sorts of CenterPoint and Xcel flags scattered around.  Is it for the landscaping that happened yesterday?  Or is there something else going on?

Heidi’s Lifestyle Gardens did a beautiful job of my gardens, the rock and the sod. Only one problem: It never occurred to me the effort that’s required to get that sod settled. I’m to water it twice a day. I have just enough hose. Menards, Home Depot and Target are all out of sprinklers. But, Sears had one!

I’m going to start tapering Daisy off the prednisone. She’ll get 3 on the even days for a bit. Mass this morning. I find myself sitting in the same spot every week, I must stop doing that! But, a weird thing happened today. A gentleman sat next to me. As in shoulder-to-shoulder next to me, definitely invading my personal space despite the fact there was more than enough space elsewhere. I must admit, it was kind of nice to have my hand held for a good bit longer than was necessary. Turns out his wife is due home this evening after vising relatives out of state for two weeks. I provided some needed human contact, and was happy to do so. Damn! The chirping in my east furnace room has resumed.

It dawned on me, about 5:20 this morning, Ashely is coming with a trailer! A trailer! CrabbyNeighbor was on my case (again) yesterday about the mess between our houses. I dragged all that stuff to the driveway for Ashley to take to the dumpster at the Shop. Yay!!! I’ve been feeling like there was just too much stuff around my front door. CrabbyNeighbor and the Landscaper both recommended there be something on the long blank back wall of my garage. Those sculpture pieces have now been relocated to that spot. Those will do for now, I’ll decide next year if I want to plant anything in that area.

The traffic this morning was horrible! Avery and I went to help move Grandpa Bob to his new private room.

Daisy’s bed was damp again this morning, but not soaked.  Perhaps I should let her out once during the night while she’s on the prednisone.  Weights with Kristin at TheMarsh. One of my short term goals is to have a date for the State Fair and it’s looking like I may fail. It seems the prednisone has kicked in and we’re done with the cone. Or, Daisy doesn’t have the energy to scratch because she was at PupTown today. I may put the cone on overnight, just to be on the safe side.
