It was one of those mornings.  I am grateful it ended with the morning.  St.George softball.  My boat is sold.  Again.  I think this is like the 5th or 6th time.  I do have an appointment to sign over the title tomorrow at 11 am.  Maybe this time we’ll get it done.

We were guests of Wells Fargo for practice rounds of the 2008 U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Interlachen Country Club.  A beautiful day to be walking the golf course, even if we didn’t get to play.  Having walked the course will make watching it on TV even more interesting.  The neighbor girls, Olivia and Isabella, brought me strawberries from their garden!  I put them in a bowl with granola, vanilla yogurt and mini chocolate chips and called it dinner.  Yummy!  We enjoyed them out on the dock.

Avery and I got out in the kayaks!  She in hers, I in mine.  A tow rope between.  I’ll know she’s ready to do it all on her own when she starts bumping into the back of my boat.  These boats are much less stable than the big red one.  She had some delighted moments . . . and some less so.  I’ll bet she’ll do it again!  We enjoyed pizza and salad from our garden with Bob & Deanna for dinner.

I have graduated to Book 2 – Flute.  I have no goals in regards to the flute.  I think it’s just too soon.  As to the piano; I’ll be happy if I can play Ludwig Van Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” with some proficiency by Christmas, though my piano teacher seems to think it will happen well before that.

Rent-A-Geek surprised me with a morning visit, I was expecting them this afternoon.  I’ve ordered a water filter and a radio.  Ants crawling up and down my office wall is fine.  Ants crawling across my work surface is not.  I let Tony have my little car while I borrowed his truck/trailer to pick up a small load of dirt for the strawberry bed.  On the way home, I got stung by a bee!  Bee sting on sunburn.  We managed to spend all our Cliff Cash.  In addition to the dirt, we got; peonies, mums, cilantro, a begonia, gloves, tomato supports for the cucumbers and pie pumpkins, and the last two strawberry plants.  And yet another project for Steve!
