Conversations I had with friends Thursday afternoon and Friday morning have me thinking about buying a small condo in Naples, FL. Or not. Steve’s kids joined us for dinner.

Avery was congested and lethargic. It was too cold to go out anyway. We cut/colored paper, played games, read books, watched PBS. “Caillou” was about how sheep fleece is processed into yarn. Very appropriate! Though I resent how the grandmother is portrayed; grey haired and round. And I almost forgot! We spent over an hour in the window seat watching/waiting for the Deer.

The temperature has been hovering around zero all day. My car has been sitting for twelve hours and it’s going to be sitting for almost two more. I hope it starts!

Crunch week – the Accountant arrives Thursday morning. What’s going to get me through this since I don’t have a plane ticket to Florida? My vow to take Mondays off this April through September. Provided my desk is clear before I leave on Thursday.

Despite the cold, we made it to Mass at St.George. We started the M&M puzzle.

Too cold to even consider going outside. We cut/colored paper, did some drawing on the PocketPC, played games, read books, watched a Dora DVD.

This morning a kid’s kayak appeared on REI’s clearance site! It’s not a model I’m familiar with but it’s deeply discounted and 10 pounds lighter than the one I had been considering for Avery. I have a really sore throat. I hope hot tea with honey today and a proper amount of sleep tonight take care of it.

Any day that starts with a big puddle of dog puke can only get better. A first sign of spring! “Watch ‘em Grow” bulb gardens are available at Bachman’s. Mine should arrive tomorrow.
