Church.  Chores and lounging home for a bit.  We celebrated my Mom’s birthday at her house then stopped to visit with Steve’s grandson on the way home.

A dozen(!) loaves of banana chocolate chip bread and a chocolate bundt/birthday cake.  Not to mention umpteen loads of laundry and a good bit of knitting.

As is our tradition, Avery and I went to Macy’s downtown Minneapolis to see the “Nutcracker” display and do a bit of shopping.  Avery really enjoyed the animated display and had her picture taken with Santa.  She could not, however, find a dress to her liking.

Woe is me.  I just ate the last popover and bowl of beef stew.  But, never fear!  Whole beef tenderloins are on sale this week and the recipe is still on my kitchen island.  We enjoyed the Buffalo High School Theater’s performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.

My Wagon is in for minor repairs and its 75,000 mile service.  The Loaner is a grey X3 with charcoal interior, glass roof and heated seats/steering wheel.  Perfect!  I won’t be heartbroken if my car isn’t finished today.  The X3’s center of gravity is noticeably higher than what I’m used to and I feel like it wobbles down the freeway, not to mention it can hardly get out of its own way.  It is a lot easier to get in and out of, however.  Fun for a day or two, but I’m not ready to own one. 

Church.  Big bummer that we missed tip cup at Tony’s last night.  Today will be the first of (hopefully) monthly family dinners.  I don’t expect everyone to show up every time, but if a year goes by . . . . .  We enjoyed Tim and Shaya’s company for dinner. 

“The Home Place” at the Guthrie followed by dinner with Steve’s Aunt Charlotte.

It figures :  The morning I hand over my gym membership card oblivious to the fact there’s a pantiliner stuck to it, one of the Guys is passing out towels.  Avery has a snot nose and nasty cough so we’ll be staying home today.

Let it snow!  I’m ready.  My Dog Sleds have a new home; Bark River Racing.
