We took Avery to the Carver County Fair. Roamed the animal barns. Avery rode a pony all by herself! After a typical fair dinner of corn dog and milkshake, we stopped to visit Bob for a while.

Two of Steve’s sisters, his niece and nephew joined us for dinner. We had the paddle boat, canoe and kayak all out for a bit.

A quick stop at Caribou. Joel and Jean joined us for golf. We did the Lakeview Front 9. Somehow I managed a score of 64! I’m now up two quarters!! After golf we enjoyed cucumber/tomato crackers and a glass of wine on the deck. No one leaves here without having consumed cucumbers and tomatoes!

Yet another Rent-A-Geek gives that label a try. And fails. Now I’ll have him swap the boxes. Not the fix I had hoped for. Swapping the boxes didn’t work! That’s just not possible. And the Technician had to leave, so Tim is stuck doing his housekeeping. Which is fine by me, but not how it’s supposed to work. We enjoyed Teri and Tony’s company for dinner.

No pilates, trainer has training. Dropped a load of stuff off at Goodwill. Picked up Avery. Stopped at the gas station, post office and playground on our way home. Lunch, nap, kayak. Typical Friday.

We have a ripe tomato! As I type it’s joining a cucumber in a bowl of cottage cheese to be consumed as my bed time snack.

I surprised a Deer and her two fawns in the front planting bed as I arrived home from church this morning. I spent the afternoon out on the lake in my Boat. Steve spent the afternoon with his family. This evening I laid in the grass and watched Steve trim trees on the north side. We have cherry tomatoes!!! Tomatoes and cucumbers – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good thing I’m not tired of cucumber sandwiches yet.

Steve just had to disprove my “invisible silver wagon” theory by getting a speeding ticket with my Wagon.

Today the Deer ate all the pansies out of the pots in the front yard. They ate an awful lot of squash leaves and beans. Venison, anyone?
