LuceLine West w/Gracie: 86 minutes, 5.01 miles, 17:15/3.5, HR=118, RHR=90. . In my mind, it’s been Thursday all day. I pulled a woodtick off of Hanna.

With Tim’s help, I installed the computer that was intended for home at my office today. While I was at it, I decided to do some decluttering there as well. I am embarrassed to say I filled two 55 gallon trash cans with junk. I am really glad I didn’t take Rent-A-Geek’s advice and buy a new laptop. With this desktop hardware upgrade, I don’t think there’s any need to be dragging my laptop back and forth any more. Sunset in the lakeside hammock with Steve and a Double Chocolate Stout. Life is very good!

Gracie has been adjusted. It will be interesting to see if I actually notice a change. We were early for our appointment, I know she hates the car and I wanted to give her a chance to settle down a bit first. I’m so impressed with her leash manners when it’s just her and me. I wish I could bear to leave one at home and walk the other.

I’ve now seen my first episode of “South Park”.

Earlier this week I received an email from Gale Woods Farm that pork was available for purchase. The piglets are weaned and the sows have been butchered. Avery and I spent the morning at the farm. First we filled our shopping bag with pork; bacon and tenderloins. We also got some ground beef and a couple of steaks for dinner. The barns were closed to the public, but we had a nice visit with all the animals outside.

While Gracie seems to have no trouble out on the trail, she still does limp some times and last night for a little while she was not using her right front leg again. Monday she will be seeing a Canine Chiropractor.

The people that looked at my house last week made an offer on another property. I’m equally glad as disappointed. When it’s meant to be, it’ll work out. No more physical therapy for me! I’ve got a clear understanding of the changes I need to make and what needs doing to facilitate them. LuceLine East w/Hanna&Gracie: 113 minutes, 6.09 miles, 18:14/3.3, HR=97, RHR=80. It took Gracie only 1.85 miles to find her leash manners this time out. My heart rate is lower than usual. What’s with that?

Outlook/Exchange is misbehaving. My attempt to fix it has made it worse.

LuceLine West w/Hanna&Gracie: 94 minutes, 5.12 miles, 3.3 mph, HR=98, RHR=92. It took 3.75 miles for Gracie to give up her fight for pace and directional control.
