Early Mass.  Still dreary and cold.  I’m surprised how sore my butt is today from yesterday’s walk.  My Pilates Trainer recommended I try MBT shoes.  I purchased a pair late last winter and had never got around to wearing them.  Since I was still walking yesterday, I decided to give them a try.  Almost six miles in new shoes isn’t typically wise, but they were fine.

It’s dreary and cold.  I’ve boiled potatoes for the potato salad I’m going to make later today.  I’ve got the laundry going.  I cleaned out one cabinet in my office.  The disheartening thing about cleaning out cabinets is when you’re done and close the door, there’s no telling it’s been done.  Stubbs/Maxwell Loop:  104 minutes, 5.78 miles, 18:09/3.3, HR=106.  The Curried Potato Salad with Craisins turned out so well I just had to share.  Tony & Teri were in town and free for dinner, so they joined us.

On the way home, Avery and I stopped at Lakewinds to pick up some Zevia Cola.  Avery decided we also needed watermelon, carrots and raspberries.  After the gas station and post office, we stopped at the park.  There were two boys at the park; one was 4 in February and the other was 6.  We’ve been to the park three times this season and have yet to encounter another girl.  I took a picture of Avery with her sunflower.  We’ll do this every Friday and I’m curious how many Fridays before it’s taller than she is.
