Pooh! We missed the Holiday Train.

“The Girls GO Skating” was cancelled for lack of participation. Since we were prepared to skate, skate we did! Teri and I went to the skating rink in Wayzata. Back to my house so she could see my Christmas tree and to pick up Steve. Wine in hand; Tony, Teri, Steve and I descended on Gabe and MaryBeth. They are neighbors and had not yet met, so I introduced them. A good time!

There’s a “SOLD” sign on the house next door!
2007-12-10 Monday
I was mentally prepared to stay at my office until midnight, but things went very smoothly and I was out before 6 pm. We took some Toys-for-Tots to Kare11’s drop off site and visited with Dan for a bit.
2007-12-09 Sunday
Church. Kitchen as construction site. Gingerbread/Pumpkin cake!
2007-12-08 Saturday
A first attempt at rosettes. The tree is decorated.
2007-12-07 Friday
The snow wasn’t quite right for sliding or snowmen, but perfect for digging and snow angels.

My Christmas shopping is done! With one minor exception: I’ve got one more item to pick up, but that comes from the shop where I’m getting my hair cut and colored next week, so I’m not going to make an extra stop. I do have two knitted projects to finish, but there shouldn’t be any problem with those. I came home to find a Christmas tree in the living room! There’s nothing like the smell of a real tree.

My kitchen is back to normal/clean. Ready for another round of Christmas baking! The most recent 4×6 prints in my Photo Journal Album are from March 2007. I regret having let this go so long as now it’s an overwhelming task. I only recently realized my DotPhoto package includes 5×7 and 8×10 prints, there are many that I need to use before they expire.
2007-12-04 Tuesday
No piano lesson or church due to the weather. I spent the evening wrapping a few more presents and making Gingerbread Men for Avery to decorate on Friday.
