It figures : The morning I hand over my gym membership card oblivious to the fact there’s a pantiliner stuck to it, one of the Guys is passing out towels. Avery has a snot nose and nasty cough so we’ll be staying home today.

Let it snow! I’m ready. My Dog Sleds have a new home; Bark River Racing.

My snow tires are in! Since I actually practiced a bit this week, I wasn’t willing to miss my piano lesson in order to get them put on the car. I’ll deal with that tomorrow morning. “Our” Caribou Coffee Shop is closed. Out of business. Bummer! I enjoyed a cup of peppermint tea over a game of Scrabble at the kitchen table. I won! But, not by much.
Here’s a Thought

I’ve been told it would be impossible to not have mice in a house like mine. I’m OK with that so long as they keep evidence of their presence where the BugMan, and not I, encounter it. Over the weekend I found mouse poop on the bottom of the kitchen island cabinet. Steve didn’t notice anything when he rearranged the pantry nor have I seen any other evidence elsewhere in my kitchen. I assume they are getting in to this cabinet via the holes cut in the base for the filtered water. There’s sticky traps in there now!

We checked out the Church of St.George this morning. I’ve got four ovens full of roasting pumpkins and squash. Steve spent the day on fall yard clean up. We both collapsed on the couch about 7:00 pm.

We saw “Jane Eyre” at the Guthrie. Stopped to pick up some sign lighting materials from a friend of Steve’s. Came home and grilled tenderloins and made popovers. Can you believe until tonight, Steve had never seen “Gone with the Wind”?
