Gracie-LuceLine West Out&Back:  79 minutes, 4.21 miles, 18:57/3.2, HR=96.

Early Mass.  The Sunday paper and some snoozing in the hammock.  Great!  My refrigerator is doing the exact same thing it did before it was “fixed”.  Verizon Ozone as USB modem with Fujitsu P1620 is slow, but it works.  Cigar Ride:  109 minutes, 25.73 miles, 14.1 mph, HR=116.

Gracie-Stubbs/Maxwell Loop:  103 minutes, 5.57 miles, 18:29/3.2, HR=111.  The neighbor invited us to a party at his main house.  We had a good time!  His garden is absolutely amazing.

Avery and I made homemade macaroni and cheese with cheese from Bongard’s Creamery store.

G’ma Lucy’s funeral was really nice.  Finally!  I’ve got the Dog Room webcam automatically uploading to Flickr.

I picked Jeff up at the airport at 6:00 am.  We stopped at my house to let the dogs out for a bit.  Drove to Walker and spent a few hours with my Dad.  Came home to pick up Steve.  Drove to Belle Plaine for G’ma Lucy’s service at the Funeral Home.

Gracie-Bayside Out&Back:  80 minutes, 4.41 miles, 18:10/3.3, HR=105.  Gracie is using the dog door, all by herself!!!

Early Mass.  My Grandma Lucy died during the night.  Except for when I’m at work, I’ve been at Gracie’s side for ten days.  This weekend has been about leaving the door open and trusting Gracie.  Her collar is equipped with a Zoombak advanced GPS Dog Locator just in case.  I also put a bell on her collar to make it easier for me to know where she is, she likes to hang out in the outdoor kennel where I can’t see her from the deck or window.  Gracie had a woodtick.

We took Soren with us to Gale Woods Farm to pick up our Beef Share this morning.  I harvested beets and have them boiling for pickled beets.  Betty and Billed stopped by to take us out for a boat ride.

Gracie has taken to sleeping in my closet and the best way to get her to stand still so I can brush her is to hold her by the tail.
