At bed time last night, Hanna peed on the floor. How else could she tell me she’s got blood in her urine and needs to see the Vet? Great. Someone else has been using my VISA card. Well, not the card, but the number. Life Insurance physical at my house. My week is off to a good start. Or not.

Early Mass. Fox/Willow/Watertown Loop: 75 minutes, 4.17 miles, 3.3 mph, HR=113. A dog in the neighborhood barked all day long. Finally, we set out to discover why. We found a smallish black lab in an outdoor kennel with little water and no food. No one seemed to be home. Mystery solved, we returned home. Knowing it was a case of an unaware/uncaring owner made it even harder to listen to the barking. Finally at 9:00 pm we brought the dog to my house, leaving a note in the kennel and, courtesy of the closest neighbor, a voicemail where they might reclaim the dog. Her name is Shaylee. She wasn’t thrilled to be at my house and Hanna wasn’t thrilled to have her. But, at least she stopped the barking! I had her leash in the back hallway and she kept picking it up and dragging it to the door. Her Owner claimed her about 11 pm.

Stubbs/Maxwell Loop: 103 minutes, 5.84 miles, 3.4 mph, HR=110. We did a shift serving corn at Corn Days, went home to clean up and change then did a shift serving spaghetti. Fun times!

I started my Christmas shopping today with a deal too good to pass up! I just made Someone’s day, by handing them a few blocks of bright colored Post-It Notes. It really is the little things.

My Trainer cancelled this morning. But, I didn’t get the text message until I was up, dressed and ready to exercise. So, Hanna and I hit the road. But, not before making a loop through the bedroom with thoughts of crawling back in bed for an hour. Good health sense prevailed! Bayside Out&Back: 75 minutes, 4.29 miles, 3.4 mph, HR=100.

Fox/Willow/Watertown Loop: 64 minutes, 4.14 miles, 3.8 mph, HR=134. It was hard to get out of bed and do that, but I’m oh so glad we did! Inconvenient that I’ve inadvertently deleted my grocery list. I really must quit with the peanut butter/Hershey Bar sandwiches.

Early Mass. Dreary day. Perfect for recovery from yesterday, laundry and home office/desk tasks.

Tour de Tonka on the Tandem: 281 minutes, 67.7 miles, 14.2 mph, HR=132. We had some gear gremlins in the beginning. The Bike shop I bought the tandem bike at had the Technician Tent at the first rest stop and they fixed whatever it was needed fixing.

I’ve got a 1.5 TB storage drive attached to my network via a USB port in the Linksys WRT600N Router. Now, if I could only figure out how to access it. 10:05 pm and I now have access! From three computers (so far), no less! I love Technical Support Online Chat!
